ARUBA

ARUBA Top 5 GUIDE BELOW

One Happy Island is right! Everyone we encountered was so joyful and helpful, coming from New York, we were in shock! Aruba is a melting pot of so many different cultures, which can be seen in the four standard languages the country speaks: English, Dutch, Spanish, Papiamento. Dutch is the main language since Aruba is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. If you are looking to connect with more Afro-Arubans we were majority are located in San Nicholas. If you have ever been let me know in the comments below!

This was my second time going to Aruba and I was hesitant as I had gone almost a decade ago with family and didn’t have the best experience. But during Covid trying to find the easiest destination my friends and I could get to for my 30th birthday, Aruba was top of the list - just needing a negative Covid test a day before the flight OR the booster shot and $15 insurance, wasn’t too bad. Remember to fill out your online portal a day before the flight as well!

I fell in love with Aruba this time around, due mainly to all of the activities and vibes I had planned that further showed me the gems this little island holds. Check out my top 5 list below and fall in love with Aruba too!
